THE HOT BOX INVASION

We learn that outerspace creatures are sending down weird videotapes
called 'Hot Boxes' that make people do sexual things. We don't actually see
how they get down to Earth, or, as the movie unfolds, understand how people
get turned on by watching them.
Charles Small (Silvera) owns a video store and Vicki (Hartley), his
employee has a crush on him. Anyhow, one day, Les Dobbs (Dee) buys a VCR
>from Charlie and asks him to throw in a tape for him to use, which Charlie
then gives to him a 'Hot Box' tape. Les takes it home to his wife Linda
(Rae), sets the whole thing up and once the video starts playing, these two
get aroused.
Scene 1: Taija Rae and Billy Dee.
They turn in a hot and nasty scene with just the right touch of
raunchiness to start this movie off with a bang.
Vicki's at her apartment with her roommate Kate (Allen) in the next
room with her boyfriend Michael (Byron). Vicki slips a tape in her VCR with
secret videorecordings she did of Charlie at work and then masterbates.
Scene 2: Nina Hartley/Bambi Allen and Tom Byron.
Nina plays with herself until she orgasms and slides off her bed.
Intercut with that is Bambi and Tom in the next room which are clips from
their scene later on in the movie.
Linda's over at Shari (McCullough)'s apartment and tells her to
watch the 'Hot Box' tape (but she doesn't know what it's called) with her
husband Ken (Butler). She does and they, too, become hot and bothered.
Scene 3: Shanna McCullough and Jerry Butler.
Very hot scene indeed! Cumshot all over her ass.
By now, not only have we learned that these 'Hot Box' tapes turn
people on, but somehow, they also record the sexings between the last
person/couple who uses them . When Shari and Ken fuck, they see Les
and Linda on screen. Now, Shari and Ken are on it instead.
Shari and Ken step out leaving their daughter Marcie (Nikki Knights
billed here as Jody Hooper) at home. Her friend Susan (newcomer Daniels)
comes over and while Marcie's in the bathroom shaving her legs (which then
turns into a masterbation quickie), she puts on a videocassette to pass time
while waiting - which turns out to be the 'Hot Box' tape. Of course, she gets
turned on, then Marcie comes down and joins her.
Scene 4: Nikki Knights and Megan Daniels.
Close ups of their raw, hairy pussies make this a nasty scene.
When Les bought the VCR from Charlie, he left his wallet behind which
Vicki gets to returning now, but no one was home, so she brings it to Ken and
Shari's place (Les's neighbor) and Marcie says she'll give it to him. Then
she tells Vicki to give something to Kate - the 'Hot Box' tape which she says
could probably put a little spark in her relationship with Michael. Anyhow,
Vicki goes home and gives Kate the tape, but she never uses it.
Scene 5: Bambi Allen and Tom Byron.
Not a bad scene, perhaps it could've been hotter if they viewed the
tape. :-)
Later on, the whole gang are at Ken and Shari's and they talk about the
'Hot Box', which by now they all realize they are a part of the tape after
having used it and Marcie (scared about Kate possibly passing the tape around
campus with her and Susan together on it) calls her up and desperately asks
for it back.
Back at Kate's (who receives the call and goes out to return the tape),
Charlie confronts Vicki about the fact that she's been videotaping him at
work and to prove it, plays the tape.. which is a 'Hot Box' tape (but not the
same one that had been passed around from couple to couple) and wham, Vicki
gets her man.
Scene 6: Nina Hartley and Joey Silvera.
Another hot scene that rounds out this scorcher.
In the end, Charlie has the hots for Vicki, but she doesn't feel the
same way anymore. Back at Ken and Shari's, Kate returns the tape and they get
down to the bottom of things by viewing the tape, trying to realize the
abnormality of the whole thing. No, no group orgy unfortunately. :-)
Hot sex throughout this movie overdoes the silly story, which makes you
groan right at the end with some very cheap special effects. Nevertheless,
definitely worth a look if you want something out of the ordinary.
