He's basically us. Not a muscle stud with a great face, but he has a good sense of humor, comes across as a decent enough guy and fucks the kind of women we usually get to fuck in our own worlds. Rodney, of course, comes in for a lot of criticism for the women he films. Less than attractive is one of the nicer terms I've read, while Hustler once wrote, paraphrasing here as it's been a few years, "It wouldn't be too surprising if some of Rodney's women were hookers looking to make a few bucks." I don't find all of Rodney's women attractive, but saying he hires hooker is not only mean spirited, but probably about a million miles from the truth. There are probably dozens, if not hundreds, of women attempting to get into the porn business every week. Why risk life and limb to search the streets when any talent agency would probably have more than enough budding trollops to help you out. Realistically speaking, Rodney has probably made his fortune due to those "not bad for a bar slut" looking women. Sure, he's known for his cum shots, but how many guys are going to say, "Rodney's the man! You shoulda seen what came out of that dick in Cumm Brother 10!" Besides, I've never found his cumshots that impressive. Yes, there's a lot of it, but it just kind of drools out and lies on the woman's face. There's no velocity or distance. If the woman wasn't right under him, it would just run down his leg. Of course, I haven't seen all of his movies. (Like most directors, he puts out WAY TOO MANY TAPES). So, I could be wrong. I tend to think that, given enough money, Rodney could probably turn out work on a par with John Leslie, the current greatest porn director ever. Not work resembling Leslie's, mind you, but work that could held in that high esteem. Like Leslie, Moore has the knack for pulling out extremely good acting performances from the people in front of his camera. The Cumm Brother movies are acted on a B level, I'll admit, but they wouldn't work otherwise. They're meant to be goofy and good acting would ruin that. The Sodomizer 2 (yes, now we're finally getting to the review), the second in what has become a multi tape series, displays some jaw droppingly good acting from the women in the first two scenes. Most of the time, if an actress manages to not look in the camera while haltingly reading her lines, it's considered good acting. But Ashley and Chelsea show some surprising talent in the first two scenes. There are five scenes on this tape, all presented as a separate vignette. The first scene features Ashley, whom I've never heard of, a skinny brunette who plays the cleaning lady for Rodney's studio. Or business. However it's being presented. This strength shows Rodney's main strength, which is building a scene up so that when the sex occurs, you almost forget the woman is an actress and Rodney is holding a camera. Rodney actually spends time interacting with the woman, talking about her life, finding out she has a boyfriend, etc. This helps the scene immensely. (Are you listening, Tom Byron?) The sex follows Rodney's usual style, which isn't that much different from everyone elses. I.E., you get the oral sex, straight sex from several different positions and then the anal ending. The only thing I didn't enoy was Rodney getting his ass licked. I don't like to watch good-looking guys having their asses licked, and Rodney certainly doesn't fall into that category. The scene also points up what I think is another problem with Rodney's videos. There's always a cut before the cumshot. Rodney never vigorously pounds whatever hole he's in, then yanks out and aims for the face. He's pumping one minute, there's a cut, and he's jacking off onto the actresses face. Oh, well. Sex wise, the first scene would be passable, but the good acting and the long setup help put it over the top. Check it out. The second scene features Chelsea Blue, a borderline pleasingly plump brunette, who is wanting to buy a video camera from Rodney to tape her wedding. Once again, as with Ashley, Chelsea's acting is incredible. There's no flubbed lines, no looking off camera, no sudden feeling the woman suddenly wishes she was anywhere but there. Maybe Rodney really is the nice guy he appears to be and these woman just feel comfortable around him. Rodney puts Chelsea through the paces for the video camera, getting herto first undress, show it off, give him a blow job and finally let him in the front door. By this time, the price for the camera is down to practically nothing and Rodney promises to give it to her if she'll let him in the backdoor. Given the title of the tape, you've no doubt figured out she agrees. (I'm not sure I agree with Rodney on this. No matter how nice Chelsea's ass is, and it ain't bad, video cameras are high!) I must say that Rodney fucks the living daylights out of Chelsea's butthole. None of that touchy feely stuff here. Get it in there and go to town! And then, there's a cut and he's jacking off onto her face. Come on, Rodney.The way you were pumping that hole, I bet you could've shot all the way across the room. The third scene looks like something Rodney had left over from another session. It features Wolf Savage and April, a light skinned black woman, maybe latino, I'm not sure. The scene has no anal, a no-no when you call a tape The Sodomizer, and features just oral action. It's dull and was maybe was put on here to get the tape past 60 minute running time. You can do better, Rodney. Samira, a so-so looking brunette is up next and Rodney has apparently ran out of ideas for set-ups. Not much happens before Rodney is going in and out of her butthole. The only thing that really stuck out about this scene was when Rodney gaped her butthole and said, "I bet it'll go back in easy this time." It did. The next scene featured Cassandra who freaked me out because she looks exactly like the daughter of a woman I work with. Exactly. It was scary. But Rodney has always said he fucks the women guys really can get and I hope this is true. I'd love to fuck my co-workers daughter. The scene is short, the only set-up being Rodney running into Cassandrain the lobby of a hotel. She offers him a massage and we're off. The buttfucking is good in this scene, Cassandra has a nice big butt, just like my co-workers daughter, and Rodney plows it thoroughly. And he actually has a full hard-on during this scene. Not to knock the man, but during a lot of his scenes, his dick seems to be semi hard. The scene ends with Rodney's standard cumshot and I must say Cassandra looks good covered in cum. Overall, not a bad tape. The Wolf and April scene wasn't needed, but the first two scenes were excellent film making and Cassandra is one of the few genuinely good looking women Rodney has filmed. So, go ahead and rent it, or, if you find a mail order company that has it for about $10, as I did, order it. JMT
